Hi, I'm Sophie
Project manager. Parent. Expat living in Zurich, Switzerland.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually evolved into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Switzerland wasn't in our long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and quickly grew into something much larger.
The early months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and rising expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took hold. We found places that worked for us, connected with other families, and started building something that felt stable.
Why I Built Lunar Breeze Path
Most information online was either corporate-level relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family viewpoint.
This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Switzerland.
What this site stands for (and what it does not)
This site is:

- An official tourism authority resource
